Code of Conduct

For all Traffic Jam! events

Covid-19 Policy

In alignment with the Chicago Department of Public Health COVID-19 guidelines and based on local transmission levels, Traffic Jam! Swing events will be mask optional for events and classes events or classes unless otherwise specified on a specific event or class page.

Because partner dancing requires close contact, we ask that you not attend our events or classes if you feel unwell or have tested positive for COVID-19.

Community Safety Guidelines and Expectations

Traffic Jam wants to provide you with a safe and welcoming environment. To help us provide and promote a culture of safety within the event, we kindly request you read and follow the below code of conduct:

  • Traffic Jam reserves the right to take any action which it, in its sole judgment, deems appropriate in response to reports of abuse, harassment, threats, hazardous situations, or other inappropriate behavior (whether or not listed as an example on the next page), including but not limited to: warning the individual(s) who appear to be responsible, expelling them from the event, banning them from future Traffic Jam events, and/or notifying law enforcement if there is reason to believe that laws have been violated or there is a dangerous situation.

Please report any behavior that appears abusive, disrespectful, harassing, suspicious, unsafe, or that makes you feel uncomfortable for any reason to the person at the front desk, and they will find a Traffic Jam! staff member. You may also send an email to hello@trafficjamswing.com.
