Ursula Hicks

Ursula began her dance training over 20 years ago with ballet, tap dance, jazz, and then modern and contemporary dance. Ursula earned a bachelor's degree in dance studies from Texas Woman's University in the summer of 2013, where she studied with Mary Williford-Shade, Sarah Gamblin, Jordan Fuchs, and Gladys Keeton.

Ursula brings such musicality and enthusiasm to the dance floor that it's no wonder she has placed in numerous lindy hop competitions, including the ILHC in Washington, DC, LindyFest in Houston, TX, and several others.

Ursula has also served on the board of directors of the Fort Worth Swing Dance Syndicate and was President of the Dallas Swing Dance Society.

Ursula enjoys collaborating with other artists and engaging in social dancing in the DFW area, and she loves teaching dance to people of all ages.
